Mirna Sleiman is the founder and CEO of Fintech Galaxy, an open innovation platform that enables open banking and finance by offering a cloud-based innovation platform, an open API sandbox, and a global fintech marketplace.
Mirna leads a regional Open Finance platform, with a vision to redesign financial services with an open API infrastructure that boosts financial inclusion, revolutionizes financial services and provides a standard integration between Fintechs and institutions.
Mirna has more than 15 years of experience in government relations, business strategy, digital communications and journalism. She managed public sector business for Thomson Reuters across 22 MENA countries and partnered with international organizations to promote innovation and social change. She spent more than 10 years as a financial journalist with Reuters, Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal and Zawya.
Mirna has an Executive MBA from City University of London in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.She is certified from MIT University in Fintech and ecommerce, and in Digital Marketing and Communications from Columbia University. Mirna is also certified in Digital Transformation Strategies from Cambridge University.
Santiago Duro is the Chief Product Officer at Fintech Galaxy, where he guides the development of the FINX platform and the designs of new products to drive business performance, client engagement, and operational excellence.
Santiago is an experienced leader with 25 years of experience in the Financial Services and Technology areas, managing established operations as well as launching new businesses, across America, Europe, Africa, and Asia where he hired and managed teams of hundreds of employees and multi-million dollars’ budgets.
Santiago previously was the Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer for Y9 Bank where he led the Technology, Product and Operations organizations and launched a Digital Bank in Tanzania. He also led a Digital Wallet in Myanmar, growing to over 8 million customers and 300,000 merchants and agents in 2 years. Previously, he deployed and managed global digital platforms at ING from concept to launch of new products and services using Open Banking as well as he led EU product localization for Amazon.
Santiago holds an MBA from Anderson School of Management (UCLA), Los Angeles, USA, a MSEE from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain, and a Master in Business Innovation from Universidad Catolica de Chile, Santiago, Chile.
Sara Al Zeera is the Chief Compliance Officer & MLRO at Fintech Galaxy and leads Fintech Galaxy on the compliance front with regulators across the MENA region for Financial Services compliance and Security compliance AML/CFT and data protection compliance. She spearheads the Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP) and the implementation and maintenance of the company’s policies and procedures.
Sara is a Central Bank of Bahrain approved Compliance Manager and MLRO with 6 years of experience in compliance and 10 + years of work experience in Banking, Insurance, payments, and open banking industries.
Prior to joining Fintech Galaxy, she served as Head of Compliance and MLRO Officer at Mada Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage, Tarabut Gateway, and Arabia Insurance in Bahrain. She also worked at Bahrain National Insurance Company and CITI Bank Bahrain.
Sara holds a bachelor's in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), a Certified Institute Supervisory (CIS), and holds a Certification in Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA).
Gregor McInnes serves as the Acting CTO of Fintech Galaxy, where he leads the engineering teams, guiding the development and implementation of our technology strategy. With deep expertise and a forward-thinking approach, Gregor steers innovation across the company, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Gregor brings over 23 years of experience in SaaS and cloud services, with a specialized focus on Open Banking and API-driven solutions. His career has included pivotal roles at NatWest and Tyk Technologies Ltd., where he played a central role in shaping open banking frameworks and advancing API-centric platforms.
Notably, as Enterprise Architect and Chapter Lead at Endava, Gregor led the development of Saudi Arabia's first Digital Retail Bank, underscoring his commitment to pioneering financial technologies in emerging markets.

Fadi Sleiman is a Finance professional with background in leveraging CFA designations to use data and make financial decisions and recommendations. He served as a CFO at AlRajhi United Investment , Abdulrahman AlRashid & Sons Co. Ltd where he managed and promoted financial investments in the GCC, UK and USA. He has also served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Abdulrahman Al-Rashid & Sons Co. Ltd and as a Finance Manager at Mawazin International Contracting.
He was also an active director of Durah Alkhaleej residential fund, a real estate fund managed by DERAYAH a financial services firm licensed by the CMA Independent board director. He was also a director at Amwal Financial Consultants and European Investment Park.
Fadi holds a Global executive MBA from INSEAD , has attended several graduate courses at McMaster University and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Lebanese University.
He is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA institute, USA and a Certified Public Accountant from Delaware State, USA. In addition, he has a certificate in corporate governance, International Directors program, a selective program for Board directors’ development from INSEAD.
Rami AlKarmi is a proud geek, futurist, investor, and executive advisor. He is the senior vice president and chief innovation officer at Jordan Ahli Bank, also he is the CEO of Ahli FinTech the 1st Bank fully owned financial technologies company and fintech accelerator in the middle east.
Rami is a mentor at 500 Startups, as Unreasonable Future, and Startupbootcamp fintech, chairman at Arcoten, Octonius.com, member of the board at Al Raed Arabi School, and member of the advisory board of Fintech Galaxy, Think Barter Network, Roybi AI Robots, and WAKE International in San Francisco.
Rami founded his 1st startup at the age of 19. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Jordan, and completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at HAAS UC Berkeley, and “The Leading for the future”, and “The Leading, Organizing for Action” Executive Programs at Harvard Kennedy School, and the Senior Executive Education Program at UC San Diego. Rami is a passionate advocate of the Lean Startup movement and is a regular judge, mentor & keynote speaker at the region's important innovation, entrepreneurship & technology events. He designed and produced a number of events and interventions in this space including the THINKLEAN speaker series, LeanStartupProgram, BackToStartupBasics, and his popular innovation/futurist talks titled: The Future of ....
Abdulaziz Alfakhri is a multi-disciplinary executive, who has proven expertise spans in executive management, strategy, financial management, investments, mergers & acquisitions, financing, modeling & optimization, financial due diligence, negotiations, and industry analysis. Abdulaziz is currently the Executive Advisor to His Excellency the CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City where he oversees RCRC Finance and Riyadh City Finance.
Abdulaziz served in a number of executive positions in several key institutions: SSTPC as its Chief Financial Officer, and multiple roles throughout his tenure in SABIC with Executive Director for Global Investments, and Business Intelligence. He led various transformational mandates & investment strategies to drive value and growth. He played a major role in raising over USD 12.5 Bn, executing investment & divestment deals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad in excess of USD 5 Bn, and managed & maximized a cash portfolio of over USD 14 Bn.
Abdulaziz is a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (“WBCSD”) Future Leaders’ Team, where his work is intended to bridge the financial and non-financial reporting worlds. He is a mechanical engineer and economist and holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Colorado School of Mines and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Riyadh AlZamil is the Founder and Chairman of Raz Holding Group, Member of the Board of Directors in the Riyadh Chamber, Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Committee of the Riyadh Chamber, Chairman of the National Committee for Entrepreneurship, and a member of Islamic investment board.
He established the symbiotic investment model, which supports entrepreneurs from different fields. Through this model he was able to support more than 120 young entrepreneurs from various sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition, he is one of the investors in the Shark Tank TV program.
